Renovated Houses

In the Kampong, there are many different types of houses. The renovated ones and the traditional ones. For renovated houses, most of them are painted white, made with many planks and zinc metal. They have glass panes and car porches made of gravel and stones. Most of them have fences with potted plants lining the fence all the way to the back of the house

Traditional Houses

For the traditional houses, they maintain the look since they were built long ago. They are usually only one storey high, with zinc-made roofs and wooden planks used as walls. Most of these traditional kampong houses do not have a parking space for their cars. The house owners like to plant many trees and potted plants outside their house to make it seem even more traditional and nice. In the picture on the left, the back of the house is filled with beautiful sugarcane plants, while the front of the house has a wide variety of potted plants
